Asumsi yang digunakan untuk menghitung potensi pasar jasa pendidikan anak usia dini antara lain sebagai berikut :
1. Jumlah target pasar (N) adalah anak berusia 0-4 tahun yang tercatat di Kota Yogyakarta, Kabupaten Sleman, dan Kabupaten Bantul dengan menggunakan data proyeksi jumlah penduduk BPS. Usia 5-6 tahun tidak disertakan karena tidak tersedia.
2. Jumlah target pasar di Kota Yogyakarta adalah sebesar 100% sementara untuk Kabupaten Sleman dan Kabupaten Bantul hanya sebesar 5%. Hal ini berdasarkan judgement yang diperoleh dari hasil wawancarabahwa target pasar utama adalah anak-anak yang tinggal di Kota Yogyakarta dan sisanya adalah anak- anak yang tinggal di lokasi sub-urban.
3. Utilitas (U) adalah jumlah bulan dalam setahun yakni 12 bulan.
4. Harga (P) adalah biaya SPP yang dibayarkan setiap bulannya yaitu sebesar Rp. 500.000,00 ditambah uang pangkal dan uang tahunan sebesar Rp.7.000.000,00 Adapun asumsi yang ditetapkan untuk menentukan besaran nilai investasi berdirinya institusi PAUD adalah sebagai berikut :
- Biaya investasi dari usaha pendidikan anak usia dini yang diestimasi adalah bisnis yang menyasar segmen kelas menengah keatas
- Jumlah karyawan sebanyak 9 orang dan pengajar sebanyak 8 orang
- Sewa gedung usaha
- Jumlah peserta didik adalah sebanyak 55 anak.
The assumptions used to calculate the market potential of early childhood education services include the following:

- The number of employees is 9 people and the instructors are 8 people - Rent a business building
- The number of students is 55 children.
